第三課時 讀寫課  閱讀本單元的section a3 a 和sectionb3 a閱讀文章,對文章進行理解分析,並進行同步寫作.

第四課時 綜合訓練課  通過聽說讀寫對本單元的詞.句.文進一步鞏固,並增加一部分練習,適當拓展提高.

step6  the  grammar:  定語從句

(1) 定義:在複合句中,修飾名詞和代詞的從句叫定語從句。被修飾的名詞和代詞叫先行詞。

eg: this  is  the  present  that  he  gave  me  for  my  birthday.

(2) 引導定語從句的關係詞有that(指人/物)which (指物) who (指人)

(3) 定語從句分限定性定語從句和非限定性定語從句。非限定性定語從句是對先行詞所做的附加說明,它同主句的關係不是十分密切,即使省了, 並不影響主句意義的明確或完整。非限定性定語從句一般用「,」與主句隔開。引導非限定性定語從句 的關係代詞不可省略,that不能引導非限定性定語從句。

step 1 revision

step 2 pre-task

step 1 check up

have an english speech contest,and the topic is 「my favorites」.you can talk about anything you like and try to give us the reasons. first work in groups,then choose the best to say in class.(進一步鞏固上一節課的語言知識)

step 2 presentation

sectiona 3a provides reading practice using the target language. ask students to read the review on their own,when they have finished, ask stuednts to say any words or pharases that they don』t understand.then ask students to read and match up the parts of the sentences.check the answers.

五.. 語法知識: (grammar focus)----- attributive clause (定語從句)

1. 請對比下面兩個短語

a.  a lovely girl 一個可愛的女孩  在這個短語中,lovely是形容詞做定語來修飾名詞girl.

b.  a girl who likes purple 一個喜歡紫色的女孩  who likes purple

是一個句子來修飾名詞girl,它的作用與lovely相同,都是做定語修飾名詞girl,我們把它稱為定語從句。

請注意,形容詞做定語修飾名詞,一般放在名詞之前;而從句作定語修飾名詞,則要放在名詞之後。下面我們具體了解定語從句。

在複合句中修飾名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語從句。被定語從句修飾的名詞或代詞叫做先行詞。引導定語從句的詞稱為關係詞,有關係代詞和關係副詞兩類。在本單元中,我們只涉及到關係代詞。

例如: i like music that i can dance to. 我喜歡可以隨之跳舞的音樂。

music是先行詞,that i can dance to 是定語從句修飾 music ,其中,that 是關係代詞引導定語從句。

singers 是先行詞,who can write their own songs是定語從句修飾singers, 其中,who是關係代詞。

比較:一位漂亮的女孩 a  beautiful girl    beautiful是形容詞做定語

a girl who is beautiful   從句做定語 (girl是先行詞)

(2)物(n.)+ that + 從句

比較:一本有趣的書 an interesting book    形容詞做定語

a book that is interesting 從句做定語 (book是先行詞)

4. 關係代詞who / that的作用:

a. 做代詞, 代替先行詞

b. 在從句中擔任句子成分:主語或賓語

c. 做連詞, 把主句和從句連接起來

who\that在從句中可擔任: 1.主語   2. 賓語

(1)i love singers who write their own songs.

who在從句中用作主語。

(2)he is the man who i met yesterday.

who在從句中用作賓語。

(3)i like music that i can dance to.

6. who/that在定語從句中做主語時,謂語動詞的單複數應與先行詞保持一致.

7. 定語從句的關係詞與其他從句的引導詞的區別 

試比較: i like music that i can dance to.

the music is great because you can dance to it

that 與because 的區別:that是定語從句的關聯詞,代替music在從句中做dance to

的賓語。而because是原因狀語從句的引導詞,只起到連詞的作用,在句中不做成分。在dance to 後面加it 指代music.
